Zomato introduces a new inter-city food delivery service called ‘Intercity Legends’.

Customers can now order from other cities, though the service is limited to those living in South Delhi and Gurgaon for now.

The company has bought 49% stake of Marcopolo S.A. in Tata Marcopolo Motors for Rs 99.96 crore. Consequently, TMML will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

Brightcom Group has decided to enter the “Quantum Computing “domain. As a first step, it would set up a dedicated lab in San Francisco Bay Area, California, with a team of Quantum Technology experts across the Globe. The objective is to advance Quantum computing technologies for AdTech and other

Sony-Zee merger can hurt competition, scrutiny needed -India watchdog – Reuters

A merger between the Indian unit of Japan’s Sony (6758.T) and Zee Entertainment (ZEE.NS) to create a $10 billion TV enterprise will potentially hurt competition by having “unparalleled bargaining power”, the country’s antitrust watchdog found in an initial review, according to an official notice seen by Reuters.

The Competition Commission of India’s (CCI) Aug. 3 notice to the two companies stated the watchdog is of the view that a further investigation is merited.
